- The Super Eagles trio of Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo and Chidozie Awaziem have been cleared for their Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash against Algeria on Sunday.
There were fears that the players may not be fit for the match after they picked up knocks in the 2-1 quarter-final win over South Africa on Wednesday.
But the team’s Media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye, has offered positive updates.
“Everyone is fit for the game against Algeria.
“We pray not to have any issues during our last training ahead of Sunday’s match,” Ibitoye told reporters.
