- No doubt the just concluded Delta State University elections, came with a lot of controversies bordering the using of the electronic Voting system, as most students and contestants were doubtful about its success and flexibility, and for good reason.
However, the doubt of many were cleared and fears alleviated following the successful outcome of the exercise which many termed ‘evolutionary’. The lucky and even unlucky contestants of the just concluded SUG elections have in no small way acknowledged the school authority for the success of the exercise, and assured of working with them for a successful one year tenure.

It is with utmost reverence, humilty and astonishing gratitude that I tender this message of appreciation. There are no gratifying words to serenade the act of trust carried out by Delsuites, on this day, the 9th of May, 2019. A landmark of achievement was attained by the great institution (DELSU) by conducting e-voting system for her SUG elections and in doing so, the great students of DELSU exercised their franchise and chose me to serve in the capacity of the Director of Socials. For this act of trust, I am grateful and with a heart of gratitude I pledge to serve in dignity, and integrity to the best of my humanly capabilities. To my senior stakeholders across all faculties, I say a hefty thank you for believing in me and projecting the flair in me to the good people of DELSU, I will work to show that your belief in me isn’t disgraced.
